Hi! I’m Brianna Siegrist, as you’ve probably figured out! I’m a homeschooling mother of three children, and we homestead in a rural area of New York.
I’m passionate about the good God of the bible, and about using my talents and skills to share the Truth… how God loves us so much.
This blog is my “home base” online because I’ve got projects all over the place. I write about my pursuits in writing, art, and even music… but mostly I write about the things that are nearest to my heart. Sometimes I’m serious and sometimes I’m a flake.
This paragraph by AW Tozer is my heart’s cry:
“This (writing) is a modest attempt to aid God’s hungry children so to find Him. Nothing here is new except in the sense that it is a discovery which my own heart has made of spiritual realities most delightful and wonderful to me. Others before me have gone much farther into these holy mysteries than I have done, but if my fire is not large it is yet real, and there may be those who can light their candle at its flame.”
And here’s a list of the different things I’m doing!
First of all, the current series I’m running on the blog is from the book of John. It’s a walk through every verse of it, as if we’ve never read it before. You can find out more at the start page.
Christmas! The Whole Story of the God who Loves.
I’ve done the illustrations for this advent storybook written by one of my dearest friends, Natasha Metzler. It’s the whole story of Christmas- from creation to the empty grave- told in language simple and clear for all ages. I am so proud to be a part of it.
If you need a VBS curriculum for your church or kids ministry, The Color Kingdom is a complete VBS curriculum I’ve created. It’s FREE in pdf form, just click here for the link!
My free fiction for adults and children is available on wattpad.com.
My small portfolio of artwork is available to browse on Carbonmade.com.
The kids and I occasionally post homeschooling/homesteading/and music vlogs on Youtube.com.
